Matt Morman
Owner
Matt was born and raised in Westerville, OH and attended high school at Columbus Academy. He went on to earn his Business Degree with a specialization in Professional Golf Management from Mississippi State University. This was followed by 13 years as a PGA of America Professional with time spent at Scioto Country Club, Jim McLean Golf Schools and lastly as the Director of Golf at Shooting Star in Jackson Hole, WY.
Matt met Michele (Category Manager for Cardinal Health) in 2007 and they married in 2009. They have two growing children, Mackenzie Grace and Rexford Hayes, and live in Gahanna, Ohio.
Matt started in the synthetic industry in 2013 as a Regional Sales Manager for The Recreational Group (XGrass, Tour Greens, Versacourt). In 2015 Matt was promoted to Vice President of Operations for the Tour Greens brand and focused on growing the Tour Greens dealer network and large scale golf specific projects. In 2017 Matt started Tour Greens Columbus, which became Tour Greens Ohio in 2018. Also in 2018 Matt partnered with Connor Sweeney (Tour Greens Michigan) and Mark Pflaumer (Tour Greens WNY) to create Midwest Synthetic Turf. The group installed putting greens across 7 states. Connor and Matt took MST to the Florida market in 2020 and in 2023 started Florida Synthetic Turf (Tour Greens North Florida & Central Florida). Matt and Connor continue to own Florida Synthetic Turf together, with Matt serving as the CEO, but have split their northern businesses. Matt is the sole owner and operator of Maxx Turf (Tour Greens Ohio & Indiana). Matt has sold and installed over 1,000 synthetic turf projects across 19 states including California, North Dakota and Alabama.

General Manager & Sales
Born in Hamburg, NY, David is a proud graduate of Gannon University and a dedicated PGA member for over 25 years. With deep ties to both Florida & Ohio, he brings decades of experience and passion to the game. Known for building strong, lasting client relationships, David focuses on personalized service and understanding each clients unique needs. In 2024, he was honored with the SOPGA Folds of Honor Award, recognizing his commitment to service and excellence in the golf community. He currently resides in Marysville with his wife Heather and their two daughters, Emily & Claire.
scott herbert
Director of Sales
Born and raised in the Cleveland area, Scott is a graduate of Bowling Green State University, where he earned a degree in Communications and Marketing. As Head of Sales for Tour Greens Ohio, Scott specializes in artificial turf design and installation. He works closely with homeowners, schools and businesses to create durable, attractive, low-maintenance outdoor spaces tailored to each client’s unique needs. With a consultative, no-pressure approach, Scott focuses on educating clients, understanding their goals, and providing practical solutions for every project. His goal is simple: to help clients create outdoor spaces that are more functional, enjoyable, and easy to maintain for years to come.
